Journal of Pollution Mitigation and Sustainable Technology is an international peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to research and technological innovation in pollution prevention, environmental remediation, waste reduction, resource recovery, environmental monitoring, and sustainable technology.
The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, experimental studies, computational investigations, technological developments, and applied environmental solutions across four principal areas: Pollution Prevention and Mitigation Technologies; Environmental Treatment and Remediation; Waste Management, Resource Recovery and Circular Technology; and Environmental Monitoring, Digital Technologies and Sustainable Systems.
The journal particularly welcomes research addressing air, water, soil, coastal, marine, industrial, and urban pollution; wastewater treatment; membrane processes; adsorption; advanced oxidation; biological treatment; bioremediation; phytoremediation; oil-spill mitigation; heavy-metal removal; emerging contaminants; microplastics; hazardous waste; recycling; resource recovery; waste-to-energy; circular materials; environmental sensors; remote sensing; Internet of Things; artificial intelligence; digital twins; lifecycle assessment; environmental risk; and sustainable process design.
Interdisciplinary contributions from environmental engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, marine and coastal engineering, materials science, biotechnology, environmental chemistry, energy systems, artificial intelligence, remote sensing, industrial ecology, circular economy, environmental management, and sustainability science are welcome when they demonstrate a clear contribution to pollution mitigation, environmental treatment, resource efficiency, remediation, waste reduction, or sustainable technology.
